Syd's Sunday game

This game was a little rough. We're pretty sure Syd ended with 10 points, she had 2 buckets where it appeared she had just a 1/2 a foot or so on the 3 pt line. She also took a pretty good shot to the back which slowed her down in this game. The refs were so bad they had parents from both teams grumbling. Let's just say that the refs wouldn't have liked it if I did some of the things that weren't fouls to them. :) I stayed the whole game on the offensive end for the Lady Angels, Syd played some solid D that I wish I had on tape.

Here's where she takes a shot to the back. She's at the top of the key. I think you can here how surprised I was they actually called a foul. (Tony, apparently these were the same refs as the game from Friday night.

Can't really tell if her foot was on the line. I thought it was a 2 at the time but now I'm seeing the ref call it as a 3!!!

This is a vid Syd isn't involved directly in the play, but I thought it was a nice play.

Call me maybe?

McKenna enjoys making up little dance moves to songs we hear on the radio. Riley enjoys copying the moves that McKenna makes up to the songs we hear on the radio. I'm not quite gutsy enough to pan over to Krista, who also knows the dance moves to the song!

Sydney's game

I'll be posting several videos of Syd's game today. She played great. Check out this buzzer beater at the end of the 1st half! For those who don't know, she is #50. The Lady Angels won their game and finished with a #2 seed out of their pool. Sydney scored 14 points in this game and got at least 2 blocks.

Here's another 3 pt shot. This was a few minutes before the end of the 1st half.

Here's a nice pass, you'll notice the D react to her when she gets the ball. Yeah, she's that good!

Yup!
This play Syd gets the ball stolen from her but she sticks with the play, gets it back and they get the points.

The Fresh Beat Dance

This video was about as elusive as Bigfoot. Riley does not like to do stuff like this when she is on the video but McKenna was able to get it. Watch out Matt Moneymaker, Finding Bigfoot isn't going to be a show anymore once McKenna decides that she wants to find him. She's auto tuned me a couple of times and been able to get video of things we couldn't dream of. We have tried over and over to get Riley dancing to the end of The Fresh Beat Band. What's even better is that McKenna was able to get the video with the TV in the background so you can see what she has done.
